Which portals do you cover?

Contracts Finder and Find a Tender, which together carry the vast majority of public sector opportunities across England, Wales and Scotland. Smaller below threshold notices on Sell2Wales and Public Contracts Scotland are not included at beta.

Do I need a card for the free trial?

No. The seven day trial needs no card. If you want to carry on afterwards you add a card, and you can cancel any time.

Do you write bids for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Bid Bestie is tender search and intelligence, not a bid writing service. Bid writing support is Bidsmithery, a separate thing.

Will you tell me if I will win?

Accepted Answer

No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. There is no AI bid scoring or pass and fail analysis here. We show you what the opportunity is, who has won similar work and whether it suits your size.

Question 5

What does the SME and VCSE flag actually mean?

It highlights notices that are genuinely open to smaller suppliers, charities and social enterprises, based on the requirements in the notice such as turnover thresholds, lot sizes and stated encouragement of smaller bidders.

What can I do without an account?

Accepted Answer

Unlimited basic search and results plus one plain English summary a day. Saved searches, alerts, filters, awarded history and the personalised dashboard need a trial or subscription.

Will the price go up?

Accepted Answer

The £19 + VAT founding member price is a beta price and will rise once beta ends. Early adopters keep their rate for as long as they stay subscribed.

Do you store my portal logins?

Accepted Answer

No. We never ask for or store your portal credentials, and we do not integrate with external CRMs or project tools.
